We are committed to constantly improve of our service through training and development. We have measures in place to facilitate in helping us operate responsible, non-discriminatory recruitment and employment practices.

Our Contribution to Community

We are proud to have acted for vulnerable members of the community, particularly with problems concerning children, domestic violence, mental health and employment law. In eligible cases we acted pro-bono and for other cases accepted payment on a break-even basis. Our pro-bono cases have never been different from any paid case.

In considering our impact on the community, we have resolved:

  • Allow members of staff time off work, whenever possible to enable them to carry out work in support of their chosen charity;

  • We are committed to ensuring that our policy remains effective. All members of staff are encouraged to make further suggestions in relation to initiatives we could undertake.

Consideration for the Environment

In considering the environment, we have resolved:

  • To encourage environmental responsibility amongst our contracts, suppliers, and staff and include environmental considerations in our purchasing and procurement processes

  • To minimise our consumption of natural resources and manages waste through responsible disposal and the reuse and recycling

  • We are aiming to be a paper free office and our case management system is digital. Staff are encouraged not to print documents unless absolutely necessary or to print documents double sided

  • To minimise our use of electricity by ensuring all electrical equipment is turned off when not in use.
