Miss. Karisma Barot
Miss. Barot graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Law with Psychology in 2015 then went on to work at Browne Jacobson and, in 2017, completed her Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws at Nottingham Trent University. After graduating, she worked as a paralegal in Residential Property at My Home Move (now part of Simplify) in Leicester and subsequently Commercial Property at Geldards in Nottingham.
Miss. Barot has since joined Trent Law, in 2019. She is based in the Nottingham office and heads the Property Department. Miss. Barot practises in residential and commercial property matters. She has particular experience in managing a high volume of matters and advising on many aspects of property acquisition (including complex charity law), disposal, remortgages, leasing, wayleaves and easements, landlord and tenant renewals, and a variety of other deeds, among others.
Aside from the legal profession, Karisma is an ardent reader, extreme sports enthusiast from white water kayaking to sky diving, and enjoys foreign travel having previously spent three months in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia in South East Asia. She also plays an active part in supporting local children’s charities, such as CCLG Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group and Wishes 4 Kids, on a voluntary basis.
